Property Tax is a very hot topic now but does anyone really understand it?

One of the reasons I am seeking this office is that many taxpayers have no idea how their property tax is really calculated and this is just wrong!  I am not afraid to tackle this tough issue and fight for the taxpayers!

Jimmy Carter spoke in Indianapolis in 1970 saying, “I want historians to say that we Democrats have not been afraid to tackle difficult and controversial issues, that we never put temporary political gain ahead of the permanent benefit.”

I believe this is true--so, bring on property tax reform but let’s clearly explain the method of calculation to every taxpayer so they know exactly what the procedure is and make sure they pay no more than their fair share!
